Academic Guidance

The Academic Guidance concerns itself with comprehensive support programs providing beneficial counsel, sincere advice, educational assistance and social guidance to all students of the Physics section with the aim of developing their personal growth and in utilizing their own capabilities, developing their skills, encouraging them to be innovative and distinguished, assisting them to understand their own selves and their skills, and offering them guidance in their academic study so that they may graduate within the specific period of time after having acquired educational and practical skills providing them with success opportunity to meet life requirements In a better manner.

Objectives of the Academic Guidance

• Taking part in the efforts of forming the personality of the university student based on the correct principles of the proper Islamic faith and behavior and affection of co-operation and giving of.
• Making use of the experience of the teaching staff members as exemplary and benefiting from their positive participation in the target aimed educational tasks and activities.
• Solving student and educational, behavioral and social problems whether the problems were private or public.

Tasks of a Student Guide

• Assisting a student to discover her real capabilities and energies.
• Giving guidance to a student according to her capabilities and potential to enable her achieve innovation and excellence.
• Assisting the student to comprehend the university educational system and the specialization which is suitable to her.
• Following up the educational record of the student to make sure that she proceeding on a correct path.
• Offering her educational advice at each scholastic stage.
• Assisting the student in a mutual respectful approach in facing the problems she encounters whether these problems were educational, psychological or social within her university atmosphere.
• Organizing various discussion forums and lectures which are seen to be useful in the Guidance Section.
• Offering assistance to the student to help her within the college.
• Strengthening the relationship of any student in need of assistance with her teachers.
• Making students aware of the services rendered by the college to help her to adopt herself to the environment socially, psychologically and educationally.
• Making field tours at different times at places where students gather to keep watch on abnormal behavioral actions and to sequester mobile phones fitted with cameras.
• Dealing with the various cases and containing problems and solving them internally.
• Referring students who repeat violations to the Disciplinary Council.
