Speech by the Section Supervisor
Thanking Allah the Almighty and imploring Him to bestow peace and grace to His messenger Mohammed PBUH, I welcome visitors to this part which hosts the physics section. Physics occupies an outstanding and pioneering position among the other sciences. Its decisive effect cannot be disregarded or hidden nor can we disregard the decisive proofs made available by this branch of science to the other branches of science such as philosophy, mathematics, chemistry and biology. Furthermore, the science of physics contributed in developing these branches of knowledge which in turn made fundamental contributions towards development of the human civilizations in all aspects m and in the embodiment of fundamental changes on the various sectors of technology and medicine. Whoever had said "physics is the mother of the sciences" is right beyond the slightest doubt.
It gives much pleasure to occupy, by the grace of the Almighty, such a position to serve the country, the sciences and the society in general and the College and the Section in particular, and it is a source of pleasure to me and considers myself lucky to be able to contribute in this section by delivering this simple talk. I also congratulate the teaching staff, the lecturers, the Asst Professors, technicians, administrative staff and the students of the physics section for their belonging to this section. I warmly shake their hands, appreciate their co-operation and recommend them to be constantly fearing the Almighty each within herself and in public as we are all dedicated to serve our dear students by providing them with knowledge and learning with sincerity and dedication in co-operation and collective work so that they may graduate with high level of educational knowledge and distinguished efficiency. This can be attained through developing the study programs and innovating new programs utilizing modern technology. In doing so, we must adhere to the ethics of the profession in order to keep abreast with the development which our universities are undergoing as a result of the great resources made available by our beloved kingdom and our dear universities praying to the Almighty that they may remain intact.
Finally, I pray that the Almighty may lead steps go along safe passage and enable us do whatever is good and beneficial.
